It was May 10, 1996. On the apex of Mount Everest, 29,028 feet above the earth in which there wasn't any movement, sounds of a heavy breathing could be heard. He was there, tired and had not eaten anything but a bowl of ramen soup and peanuts. the beautiful earth was beneath his feet, vast and a little bit faded from that height. He had this scenery, this wonderful moment in his mind from a long time ago but this time it was real and in front of his eyes. He stared that scenery while he wasn't able to feel that special moment by his heart, he couldn't care about where he was standing. The onlything could be felt was lack of oxygen and cold air stinging his body. Why the title of the passage is " into thin air "? Based on my own understanding, there are moments for mountain climbers in which they struggle to the death because of being in different arduous situations like cold air and lack of food or even falling off. Thin air is one of them which can be considered as a risk and It's even an obstacle in their way. They encounter with such unique moments so describing their feelings, experiences and other things which are related to being in these special situations is what they want. As I walked through the doors of the library, I felt the silence ruling there. There were rounded desks with students sitting behind them. At the first moment, I felt that they’re looking at me as something weird. I was worried about making noise and breaking this silence and especially attract their attention to myself so I decided to take myself to the part in which I could walk within the bookshelves but I wasn’t allowed to have my back with myself because of some rules, I put it somewhere and passed through the main door. For me, it was a unique sense that I was there, within the books which some of them were even older than me. I picked a book from the bookshelf as I was walking there. Its papers were pale and there was no name on the hardback. Habitually I sniffed the papers because every time I do this crazy thing I feel pleasure. With the book in my hand, I walked. Looking at bookshelves, I saw familiar names which reminded me the stories. I didn’t feel the passage of time. For a long time, I was there, just standing and staring at the books, thinking about stories. I felt this eager in myself to read those ones I had never read before. In a bookshelf, I saw Shakespeare book Central Library of Shahid Beheshti University...ادامه مطلب

I will ask one of them " which door would you choose if you were in the other robot place?"
Then, for example he says "the door A"  and if he is a liar instead of the honest one he will say "A" but because he is a liar so the door A is not the right one and if he is the honest one because he is answering honestly instead of the liar so it's still a lie and any way the door B will be the right one.

He tries to rationalize his behavior. He mentions that this madness which he don’t believe in, has honed his senses. He reminisce it as a gift and it seems that he like his madness although he doesn’t believe in being affected by this disease which to him is nervousness not madness. He claims to have the capability of hearing sounds accurately than others, he hears sounds from heaven and earth and is proud of himself as a creation superior to others. Although it’s a question why does he mention sounds coming from heaven and earth and then expresses that most of the sounds are coming from hell, It somehow, can be concluded that he has committed the crime of killing the old man by kind of inspiration coming from hell. Loot By Nadine GordimerIn loot the short story written by Nadine Gordimer we have not different characters but people, an old man and if it be possible to be considered, sea as an inanimate character. The story goes in its beginning by an earthquake, it was an earthquake which men had ever seen, the greatest measured earthquake. It was an irregular one that did exactly opposite and instead of making a flood and tsunami, the sea drew back and revealed what it had hidden beneath it, things it had stolen from our world. The revelation of hidden things provoked desire inside of humans and so people rushed to take them as much as possible even if there was no need to possess them. They grabbed things just for the sake of possessing and as a result of pure desire. In The part above, the sea ( if it be possible to consider it as an inanimate character ) has an exploitative character which takes what it wants through deception and by exploiting people to meet their own selfish needs. Things which has been shown them makes them forget about their destroyed houses so the sea deceive people, blind them by greed and swallows them up with all the revealed treasures. Now people are also a part of Central Library of Shahid Beheshti University...ادامه مطلب
